Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI ImperialGerman Bavarian officer private purchase pickelhaube helmet. Leather body hassome surface cracking and a dent on the left side. Beautiful original brassBavarian officer wappen badge on the front. Bavarian colors cockade on leftside and German national colors on right side. Gilt scales chinstrap halves donot match perfectly, and bosses are not a perfect match either. May bereplacements, otherwise helmet is guaranteed original. Missing the screw-inspike or ball. Leather and cloth liner shows light wear and staining, nodamage. Leather is soft and supple. A tough to find Bavarian officerpickelhaube that will make a fine addition to your collection.
