Offered is an original WWI period souvenir felt pillow sham for a member of US Army Company I, 112th Infantry Regiment as shown. Tapes to approximately 22 1/2 inches square. Remarkably, there are only three moth nips of significance - two above the letter \"S\" in \"US\" (see photo), and one to the left of the letter \"I\" in \"Infantry.\" Otherwise, no fraying, dry rot, tears, etc. The pillow opening has been loosely hand-stitched to close it, with the safety pin serving as the terminus of the closure - the sham is not damaged.
