The wrench is New Old Stock

The wrench still had the Cosmoline coating on it, but was removed during cleaning

The Wrench is Ready for Show, Display or Use

The wrench was recently obtained from a sale, shows well cared for, age is unknown,

I believe theFairmount Tool Company was a major supplier of Military vehicle tools during the WWII and the later eras.

I believe this wrench was a part of the original military maintenance tool rolls (41-W-982-20), as used in motor Pools and field service units as 41-W-1005 or TKKX2D, as in Ord5 SNL J-4 4/1945 and ORD 3 SNL J-17 4/1956.

The wrench is stamped on one side on one9/16 FAIRMOUNT USA 5/8. The wrench is in the dark finish.

The wrench is approx. 6\" long.

The Wrench is in good condition, and has been cleaned and rub coated with semi-gloss black paint for protection. As with the vintage of the wrench, there is some discoloration, as noted from the photos.

The wrench would enhance any collection.
