Mint: The card has no visible marks. Almost every card has a flaw even if it is new so this rating is hardly ever used.
Near Mint:The card has minor
flaws that aren't apparent at first sight. It might have little white
pocks or scratches that you have to really look for to see.
Excellent: Overall good
appearance. Scratches, picks, worn edges, slight bends or creasescan be
seenbut does not impede card's integrity.
Very Good(Light Played):
Similar to an excellent condition card except there is more whitening
around the edges and the corners are a little more worn. There might be
some small amount of whitening on the back face or front face. Even a
casual inspection will show the defects. When the card is in a sleeve
the defects will not be as noticeable and the card will likely blend in
with other cards.
Good(Played): There is
excessive whitening around the edges and the corners have a good amount
of wear. Lots of scratches,picks, bends and creases. When you put the
card in a sleeve, it might stick out a bit due to its condition, but
none the less, still playable in a sleeve.
Poor(Heavy Played): The name
says it all. Very abused. Heavily scratched, creased or bent. Even in
sleeve there is no denying the use of the card.
