Here's a gorgeous Zenith 6-S-249 chairside console radio. Vintage 1938. GREAT cathedral-shaped dial. Has standard BROADCAST, Foreign and Police bands. Screams DECO! Radio sold as-is. No returns. This is what I know about it: It's been in my collection for ten years. Time for someone else to enjoy it!

The radio pulls in one station clearly, but dial cord is loose or broken, so hard to tell more about the electronics. Other three knobs work. It appears to have been refinished at one point; looks nice. Fingernail-size chip of veneer missing near bottom edge (see photo). The dial may be a reproduction; I say this only because it's in such excellent shape. Knobs, bezel, etc. appear to be original. Look at the photos and email with any questions. What you see is what you get.
