Old original calendar is missing the calendar pad, but this is from the 1920\'s. This was published or printed by the Gerlach Barklow Company and features a print of a young brunette haired lady by Zula Kenyon. There is a sweet explanation or description of the subject matter still attached.
Advertising is for Peoples Bank Of Ford City, Ford City, Pennsylvania which is printed on the dark green of the matting.
Total measurements are 11 3/4 x 14 3/4 inches. There is the lower layer of the backing to which the print is tipped in or glued toat the top edge. There is the outer matt and then there is the information flap. Viewable image of the girl measures 6 5/8 x 8 1/8 inches. Below the matt the print measures7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches including narrow borders.
Condition is very nice with some wedge and corner wear to the lower backing. The viewablelitho print is in pristine condition. But, upon lifting the top matting there are 3 punctures from where the calendar pad was removed at some point in time. An originalcalendar pad from the 1920\'s could easily be added, since there are some sellers that have them on . Or, the print could be trimmed around the backing andframed/matted to eliminate any problems.
