Spectacular very large 1960s vintage brass table lamp. This fine lamp is entirely hand hammered brass with dark stained wood base, top and stem.
It measures a towering 37\" overall from base to finial and 28\" from base to socket base. The classic formed hammered brass alone measures 21\" by about 10 1/2\" wide. The wood base is nearly 8\" wide.
The photo with my two fingers shows the subtle seam running down the backside of the lamp.
This lamp has been well cared for and has no large condition issues. Just a few small areas of discoloration. Very, very good condition.
The brass surface is a beautiful, rich golden brass and the hammering is subtle and creates a wonderful movement on the surface.
It retains it\'s original cord and the three way light socket works beautifully.
Unshaded. The shade in the photo is just a cheap Target Store shade.
The lamp sits firmly on a table surface and is amazingly light in weight for it\'s size.
Hand hammered brass 60\'s modern lamps are hard to come by and this one is gorgeous.
