Antique Amish Boy's Clothing: Denim Overalls+cotton Shirt, Handmade, Size 2? For Sale

I buy vintage linens at local estate sales to pass them along to you. I often find children's clothing from the past, but this is the first time I've found handmade Amish clothing. This is a adorable outfit for a small boy, a shirt and denim overalls. The shirt is made of woven cotton fabric in a mid-blue shade; it has long sleeves with turn-back cuffs (that close with metal hooks and eyes) that have set-in gussets. There is a pointed collar and a front opening that closes with metal hook-and-eyes. There are side vents, and the front left corner has an embroidered letter P in white. The shirt appears to be sewn on a sewing machine. The pants are made of denim and are rather faded. They have four buttons across the front and an inner waistband that also closes with buttons; there are narrow denim straps that crisscross in the back and are sewn to the waistband. There is a hole near the knee on the right leg, as shown, and the straps are raveling at the edges. There is a special feature in the front: a fly opening, as shown! There are pockets built in to the side seams. The buttonholes are made by hand.measurements, all taken with the garments lying flat: shirt: 12 1/2" across front from shoulder seam to shoulder seam; about 11" sleeve length from shoulder seam to turned-back cuff; 12" across front at underarms; 13" across front at bottom edge; 17" length from center back to bottom edge. overalls: about 10" across waistband; about 9 1/2" from waistband to crotch; about 14" across front at hip level; 18 1/2" length from waistband to leg bottom; about 9" height of straps.I have laundered and pressed these and found the fabric to be sound. These are definitely worn, particularly the overalls; they have a hole in one leg, and the straps are raveling, and there is a purplish stain in the inside of the waistband. The denim is quite faded - if you look inside the pockets, they are dark dark denim, and the outsides have faded considerably. Still, it is such an adorable look, and you don't find these everyday. It certainly could be worn by a modern-day toddler, or it could be go into a costume collection. Please write in if you want more information.I am storing this in my smoke-free home, but I do have a cat who sheds copiously, so be aware if you have allergies. Please contact me for more information or photos. I am happy to combine items to save on shipping, so check my other listings too. Thanks for looking!
