**here is a dream of a dress, an antique Edwardian Afternoon Tea gown... 100 years old and still perfectly wearable even today.

I\'m not even sure where to begin...I love so much about this. It\'s a sweet pale blush pink color, made of airy cotton lawn with eyelet lace, dainty pintuck pleats, & little crochet medallions.
The ruffled flounce on the hem has shirring along the top edge and is very full like a circle skirt. The drape & weight of this flounce gives the skirt a languid swishy movement -- I wish you could see it in action! The fabric is a bit gathered in back which helps to fully conceal the hook & eye closures there and also gives it a slight train, about 3\" longer in back than in front.

This dates from 1907-1912 or so. It\'s in wonderful condition for its age and presents beautifully. I gave this a gentle soak and was able to freshen it up to near perfection. There are still some minor flaws as would be expected, but none that are glaringly obvious, mainly just a faint spot near the ruffle on the skirt (which would likely come out with another soak-- I didn\'t want to be too aggressive with my cleansing), a few small rust spots on the top left shoulder and near the hook & eye closures on the back inset lace panel (these are almost completely hidden when the hooks are attached), and two tiny holes near the waistline on the front which I believe came from a waist corsage being pinned there as was the style of the day. And finally, part of one of the hook & eye closures was missing, so I replaced it.
I upload large pictures, so please zoom in to better see all of the lovely details (although in my possibly biased opinion, it is far prettier than the pictures show:) This will be wrapped with care and mailed within one business day of payment. Also, please knowthe fabric is fairly sheer so you\'ll likely need some sort of underslip.
