Early rod, the \"Deluxe\" model. Impregnated, casts with accuracy and authority.

Two matching tips,( a wet and a dry) one is 6’ and the other makes the rod 6 ½

The ferrules are still nice and tight,. Ferrules and tips are completely original and straight.

The original Tartan plaid bag is in excellent condition. The gold colored aluminum case has some marks and damage at the bottom (see photos)

The original paper label is partially readable. This rod is a delight to cast and fights fish with authority

Impregnated. Quality built, dark cane color Deluxe Model that really casts well. Very nice and precise action, considered by many to be one of the top Orvis models. This rod is a fine example of the quality and care that made Orvis so well respected. The reel seat rings were removed to make it lighter. There were old rubber bands on the handle for the reel this rod shows unusually light use and remains in Excellent condition.

Everything is original nothing has been replaced.
