Batonga Stool Zimbabwe Shona Tsonga - Taburete Tabouret Hocker:
$77

This is a baTonga stool from the Zambezi valley area of Zimbabwe. Good old patina, very simple pattern burnished into the top surface, and the supports giving it quite a striking pattern.
Carved from a solid piece of wood. I am told that stools were for the use of men only, but I am not sure how true that is!.
Not as old as most of the pieces I have listed, guessing 1960 - 1980.
A wonderfully architectural stool with great glossy yellow patina!height 22cm
width 21.5cmAny questions please email me.
Thank youStool 430gm - Packaging 370gm - Total 800gm
Post is cheapest to UK, about £5, more to Europe approx. £16 (depending where), and about £23 to the US and Australasia. Please do not pay until I send you an invoice, actual postage will be charged, which relies on me knowing the parcel destination.

Just realised I didn't update the weight and it should be 1.55kg. So the total package will be just under 2kg. Sorry about that.
