Description c.1830 ADAMS TRANSFERWARE PLATE, HISTORICAL BLUERIVER SCENEHere is a fine old dark blue English transfer plate by Adams. There is a large building next to a river, likely a mill, a boat in the foreground, and a wonderful floral border decoration made even more special by its asymmetric nature. The mark on the back clearly says \"Adams Warranted Staffordshire\" so there is no doubt as to the maker. This plate dates to the 1830\'s. The plate is 9 inches in diameter. There is browning on the back but no chips or cracks, unusual for a plate of this age. Get Images that
