This excellent book is c.1765, perhaps a little later. Since some of the examples refer to 1764I do believe it is pre-1800 but more research required. Not in great condition - REFER TO THE EXAMPLE IMAGES BELOW - but nevertheless packedwith a copious amount of scientific and arithmetical information, charts and tables, some torn. THE ELEMENTS of NAVIGATION Volume 1 - Books 1-6 in one volume. Book I of Arithmetic Book II of Geometry Book III of Plane Trigonometry Book IV of Spherics Book V of Astronomy Book VI of Geography Lacks proper cover/boards. Has asHessian type loosecover, sold with all faults. All 398 pages appear intact and are very readable but there is ageing, dustmarkingand some slight fading of the odd page(s).
