From a Connecticut Estate sale comes this c1888 Gorham Versailles Sterling Silver 8 ¾” Long LARGE SERVING SPOON.

Weighing 2.6 ounces (75 grams), this large spoon is in excellent antique condition and, as shown, is beautifully monogrammed on the back.

This is a multi-format pattern with each of the different pieces (spoons, forks, etc.) showing a different figure on the handle. This is one of the rarest patterns Gorham made and I recently purchased over 100 pieces of it. All of my silver has been lightly polished for its photo shoot but can always benefit from additional polishing.
