C.1900 Seroco Camera Co. - 5x7 View Camera- Red Bellows - Brass - Very Nice - For SaleThis is a vintage (circa 1900-1920) bicycle-style folding view camera made by the Seroco Camera Company. It is called a bicycle-style as it was compact enough to take along on a bicycle trip. Seroco stood for Sears Roebuck Company. A quality camera in its day, with lots of brass and mahogany, red leather bellows, leatherette covering, Wollensak lens, and a tripod mount. This takes 5x7 size plates, and folds nicely. Other than the usual leatherette wear, the only real issue is that the wooden plate that covers the glass plate in the rear is split. I have taped it together temporarily, and it is an easy fix. With a new leatherette covering, this will make for a beautiful display piece, especially if mounted on a vintage tripod. The shutter works. Looks to be complete. When folded up it is 8 1/2 square by 3 1/2 inches. Sold as is.
