C1900 Theodore Roosevelt Sterling Silver Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon For Sale
Beautiful and very rare, ca1900, Theodore Roosevelt / Spanish American War / Rough Riders, Figural Handle Souvenir Spoon with a wonderful, double sided figure of Teddy Roosevelt wearing his “Rough Riders“ uniform on horseback!!
This wonderful, Souvenir Spoon measures approx. 4 3/8" long and has a figure of Theodore Roosevelt dressed in a Rough Riders uniform on horseback. He holds a sword in his right hand that rests on his right shoulder. Below the hooves of the horse there is a spread-wing eagle with a shield chest and on the back of the handle behind the eagle there is an American Flag. The bowl of the Spoon is blank. The Spoon is marked Sterling and does not carry a manufacturer‘s hallmark.
This beautiful, Teddy Roosevelt motif, Figural Souvenir Spoon is in excellent condition - crisp and beautiful with no damage of any kind. This spoon came to us with a small collection of other figural handle spoons - which we are offering on this week - in "as found" condition with warm and beautiful age patina and some light tarnishing (the spoon will certainly shine up beautifully if the buyer wishes to do so).
