C1930 Art Deco Light Fixture 3 Bat Wing Slip Shades For Sale
Offered for your consideration is this original 1920s/30s ART DECO style ceiling light fixture. It is the classic "bat wing" design with three frosted glass slip shades. The shades have a bulging panel shape accented with an embossed floral motif. The fixture measures about 24" long from the ceiling bracket to the finial at the bottom. It is in good condition with no damage or repairs found. There is some expected wear and a few paint spots on the finish. Itseriously needs to be re-wired. The shades are 9" high and 5" across. They are in very good shape as well with some edge chips but nothing excessive or noticeable. See enlarged photos to evaluate. It looks like there may have been some painted accents on the glass at one time but long gone.
