C.ww1 Real Photo Postcard - 3 Soldiers In England, At Least One Is Australian For Sale
Caption: No caption. This is an originalreal photo postcardshowing a vignetted portrait of 3 World War Onesoldiers in uniform. The one at right is definitely Australian, and has a rising sun badge on his collar, I think the soldier at left is also probably Australian but I can not see badges, the soldier seated in front appears to British, and has a cap that sags to his right and shaped badges on his collars. The image is not sharp enough to blow up to see detail. Publisher: Gale's Studios Limited, England (with a long list of branches throughout England at left on the back). Not Postally Used. No writing. Date: Not dated, this is likely from the World War One period. Condition:Edges and corners show plenty of wear and bumping, a tear on the mid right edge, light soiling to the back and edge browning, main subject matter is quite tidy but the card is not tidy overall, fair condition only.
