C.ww1?? Real Photo Postcard - Named Australian Soldier In Uniform, In England For Sale
Caption: No caption. This is an originalreal photo postcardshowing a portrait of an Australian soldier in his uniform while serving in England, I am guessing this is circa World War One but it may be later. The soldier is identified in later ink writing on the back as Jim Smith of Glenaroua, which is just west of Seymour and north of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. Publisher: Bert Williams, Bristol, England. Not Postally Used. Ink writing on the back. Date: Not dated, I am guessing this is from the World War One period. Condition:Corner bumping with a crease on the lower left corner, insect surface bites into the image - they are small but do detract, a little foxing to the back, otherwise clean and quite tidy, about fair to fair plus condition overall due to the bites.
