Ca1905 Tin Lithograph Advertising Sign / Tray / Charger / Vienna Art Plate For Sale

This wonderful, round, lithograph on tin Wall Plaque measures approx. 10" in diameter and pictures a majestic Bull Elk standing tall in the foreground on the shore of a mountain lake. Snow covered mountain rise from the far shore in the background. There is advertising text at the left center that reads "Compliments of Estep & Flaig / General Merchandise / Williamsburg, PA.".

The lithography is of the highest quality however the Sign / Plate carries no manufacturers mark of any kind. It is similar in design to the "Vienna Art Plates" that were manufactured by the J. F. Meeks Tuscarora Advertising Co. or H.D. Beach's Standard Advertising Co. both of Coshocton, Ohio and were often used as advertising or promotional items.

This rare and beautiful, Tin Litho Advertising Plate / Sign / Premium is in very good, original condition. The colors are bright and vibrant - rich and warm and no significant surface loss or damage on the Image area. There are less than a handful of VERY tiny surface blemishes to the image area as well as a very few small nicks to the edge of the rolled rim border. The Tray retains its original, brilliant surface shine and is very well preserved overall. The back of Sign / Plate exhibits some light wear as can be seen in the scans below.
