Ca1910 Muehlebach's Pilsner Beer Tin Litho Advertising Tip Tray Pre-prohibition For Sale
Beautiful, original and very rare, ca1910 "Muehlebach’s Pilsner Beer" Pre Prohibition, Tin Lithographed Advertising Tip Tray. This wonderful Missouri Brewery Tip Tray measures 5” in diameter and features a beautiful image of a bottle of Muehlebach’s Pilsner Beer. Muehlebach Pilsner was brewed by the George Meuhlebach Brewing Company of Kansas City, Missouri. Text on the rim of the Tray reads “Muehlerbach’s Pilsner Beer / Purest and Best”. The Tray is marked on the inside of the gilt rim with the name of the manufacturer - Kaufmann & Strauss Co. of New York City. The Chromolithography is of the very highest quality as would be expected from the outstanding craftsmen employed by this premier maker of tin lithographed advertising items.
This beautiful ca1910 Kansas City, Missouri Brewery Advertising Tip Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original ca1910 Tray manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss for the George Meuhlebach Brewing Company and their "Muehlerbach’s Pilsner Beer".
The Tray is in excellent condition - the lithography is bright, crisp and beautiful. There are no major scratches, scuffs, surface loss or damage of any kind to the central image area. There are a few small scratches on the rolled outer rim of the tray and some tiny, minor blemishes to the central surface but overall the surface of the tray is brilliant in color and retains its' original high gloss shine. The back side of the tray is clean and crisp with very little surface wear.
A rare and very beautiful, Pre-Prohibition, Tin Lithographed Advertising Beer Tip Tray and a fantastic addition to any collection!!!
