This Is a 1020's fly weight governed four horse power agricultural engine from sometime in the nineteen twenties. Made by Coleman, it is powered by gasoline, Has water cooler and cone clutch, buss coil and battery. I had it working on a motorcycle carburetor but the original carburetor is not working. It could be fitted with another one from another engine. If you buy this from me and want to ship it I will put a wooden box together for costs and ship it for costs. Otherwise I will just give it away to get it out of my back yard. On May-05-13 at 00:06:20 PDT, seller added the following information:
Trying to get a freight quoat for shipping this engine to
all the various cities that it might go to, is a imposable task.
If the person receiving the engine knows the size and weight
of the box he can arrange shipping himself using the internet freight quoat
sites, however to get the best rate there is something he should know
Price I got is around $350.00 to Mo .But if you arrange shipping
using freight quoat and you ship from a freight terminal in the san jose area
(near my house) to a freight terminal in
a large city (near your house) the price will go down. The approx weight is 350
pounds the size in inches is 42long x 27
wide x 35 high boxed on a wooden
skid. I have to drive the freight to a
trucking terminal in the bay area ( whatever we decide to use ) and drop it off
at the shipper it will get shipped to a trucking area in a city near your
house. If we were to ship it to your house that in a remote area the price
would go thru the roof. But if you drove to the terminal and picked it up from
the shipper the price would be tolerable.
Make sense to you?
