aextremely fine pair ofsilver & enamel cufflinks by archibald knox,they haveperfect turquoise enamel hightlights to the stylised flowerhead designwhichare typical of the art nouveau period,the pairare ofthe finest quality and would have been sold through the liberty & co store as part of their cymric range,there were several designers using this medium of design and decoration during this era,amongst those the most notable were,jessie m king,murrle bennett( who produced designs for the cymric & tudricrange of silver & pewter ware for liberty's)james fenton andcharles horner.theserank along side those in both design and quality of manufacture.each measures approximately.75" across with a strong link chain and tee bar,both arefully marked to the back with the full assay offices marks forbirmingham with the date letterc for 1902 andthe l & cothree diamond punch for liberty & co plus the coveted cymric stamp,the marks are clear andlegible.they will be sent in a new velvet lined gift box which is included in the sale.please feel free to ask any questions and i will reply within 24hours,theseare a genuinepair and should not be mistaken for the unmarked copies and reproduction items offered on .postage is by special delivery in the u.k and airsure or signed for to international destinations.
