I purchased it for my wife because of one song that is on this CD -- "I Can't Make You Love Me". Her rendition is flawless. Lots of sincere emotion in her voice (she's probably been there). However, the only downside for me was the pianist, Bruce Hornsby, who played very well but with not nearly the soul necessary for this song. Too bad Johnny Johnson and Otis Spann are gone now, either would have been terrific. Of course the absolute best would have been Robert Alan "Lanny" Fiel out of Lubbock, Texas. He is far and away the finest pianist in America -- if not the world, today. Non of which detracts from his stunning ability on the violin, viola, acoustic and electric guitar. Plus he's one of the few drummers since the death of Freddy Below who can count to four consistently. Sincerely, Joe WestbrookRead full review
I already knew I liked this album, as I had it on cassette, so was just upgrading to CD so I could play it in the car. It was priced well, so I bought another album, from the same artist. Postage was fair, & the seller mailed it quickly.
I rate this CD excellent in comparison to her other CDs'!!!...she is fantastic and the best female in her genre !!!...to me "Nick of Time" was a great come back,...and "Luck of the Draw" proves it as the following release. You will hear rock, blues, country etc.....and have a real good time !!!!
There were five songs that I liked, but I bought it particularly for "Something to Talk About"

Just saw Bonnie in concert and wow, her voice hasn't changed in the 10 years since this album. She is a great entertainer, great guitar player and works with the audience with great back up musicians. Seller was prompt with the mailing.
