A top quality book about, arguably, one of the most classic ladies who’s image has ever been put on film, photograph, paper and ink . If you love Betty Page (and who doesn’t?) you need this book in your collection. While she was and still is a very controversial figure, she stood out in an era where it was not quite kosher for a lady to pose for such risqué pictures. And she did it with style! Even after she disappeared from the world and didn’t want anything to do with her past, she could not escape it or the impact it had on society. Sadly she passed away recently but she will always be remembered by tributes such as this book.
Considering it costs $10 for a single issue of Betty Page today that only has one photo and this book has dozens of great shots it’s a no brainer

Lots of pics but I wish there were less drawings and more photos. Gives a general written overview of the subject. Good addition to a Betty Page collection.

This is a wonderful picture book with many illustrations as well as numerous photos of Betty Page. It not only shows the appeal of Betty in her time but also the development of her pop culture renaissance in the latter part of the last century. Her likeness in graphic novels and fantasy art of the eighties as well as her fine photographs from the fifties by such artists as Bunny Yeager are shown. Many shots have not been seen before by this fan, including many topless ones. So, do know that this book is rated R, but not for Raunchy. It is very tasteful and worthy of any fan's collection. A must have.
I really liked this book. I really enjoyed all the pictures, especially the full page. Great book if you are a fan
