Edge Vs John Cena - Last Man Standing Match from Backlash 2009 - This was a good, but SLOW MOVING match. Hit a big move, let the ref count to seven, repeat a dozen or so times until Big Show grabs Cena and chokeslams him through a rigged light on stage (3.0) Christian Vs Jack Swagger for the ECW title at Backlash 2009 - Another good, but not great match with Christian taking a crazy press-slam bump from the ring to the floor. (3.5) Edge Vs Jeff Hardy at Judgment Day 2009 was a very good match with a strange "rail runner" spot where Jeff was going to run the rails and leap on Edge who was stranded on the announcers table, problem is Jeff was more walking along the rail (and then Edge speared him anyway) much better than I expected (4.0) Rey Mysterio Vs Chris Jericho at The Bash 2009 (Mask Vs IC Title Match) was awesome, Rey really hit some sweet spots including a double springboard, splitlegged moonsault to Jericho (who the crowd were WAY into) fantastic match (4.5) The 6 pack challenge for the US title from Night of Champions 2009 was next. Not sure why this was on the best of blu, it was good, but that was about it (3.0) Orton/HHH/Cena also from Night Of Champions 2009 followed that, and it was good, but had a TERRIBLE ending (3.5) Dolph Ziggler Vs Rey Mysterio for the IC title at Summerslam 2009 - This was yet another great match with Rey, who was selling 75% of the time making Ziggler look like a STAR! Rey's move de-jour was a leap to the top rope immediately followed by a moonsault (looked better than I can describe it) great stuff (4.25) CM Punk Vs Jeff Hardy in a TLC match also from Summerslam - had some crazy bumps including the swanton through the announcers table from the giant ladder which looked spectacular. A spot fest, but a good one (4.25) Last match on disk 1 was the Cena/Orton I Quit match from Breaking Point 2009 which was Cena getting beaten up for 15 minutes while handcuffed (brutal stuff for a PG rated show) I really dislike "Superman Cena" (3.5) match was good enough for what it was. So the second disk of the Blu Ray is the same as the third disk of the DVD version, however with the Blu you get a lot of "Exclusive Content" which ends up being four more matches (which is a really nice bonus) however, as I was about to watch them, I noticed the first free bonus match was Kane Vs The Great Khali in a Singapore cane match, so I decided to skip them and just review the main content. First up from the "Hell In A Cell" PPV was the HiaC match featuring DX taking on Legacy, this was a shockingly great match (4.0) Next up was the 14 man tag from "Bragging Rights" team Smackdown Vs Team Raw which was your basic tag match until the predictable ending (3.0) From the "Survivor Series" we have team Morrison Vs Team Miz, that was a fun elimination match that tried to make some new stars along the way (3.5) We follow that with a ladder match from "TLC" as Christian defends the ECW title against Shelton Benjamin, it was what you would expect with the usual crazy bumps (3.75) Then for some reason, and I have no idea why, they placed the Mickey James Vs Michelle McCool match from the Royal Rumble next, why??? (DUD) and then to end it all, the perfect match. Shawn Micheals Vs The Undertaker, streak Vs career from WM26 (5.0) A good(not great)effort. If you can't afford to buy the individual PPVs on DVD or Blu, this set is well worth the cash, even though some of the choices for "best" are a tad suspect...Read full review
