With handwriting being stressed less and less in school resulting in more and more children being either unable to write cursive or having totally illegible handwriting, this is a painless and fun way for kiddos to practice their handwriting CORRECTLY. "Contemporary" cursive including the beginning strokes for all letters which helps transition from one letter to the next. The only thing I would change about the organization is to group letters with like beginning strokes rather than present the letters in althabetical order for practice. Monday-Thursday is letter/word practice and Friday is a very short and fun paragraph utilizing the week's work. I will use it as one of my opening activities to maintain order while I check roll, take lunch orders, etc.
Excellent book to teach cursive. I would definitely recommend to any parent or caregiver. There are pages for letter, words, and sentences with lines. It would help with improving handwriting overall.

This is a wonderful way for students to learn cursive. It has diverse, small activities that are fun and creative to students. They have an opportunity to be exposed to much cultural literacy. My students truly mastered cursive by the end of the year.
