Lord of the Dead is a good book for late teens/ adults who enjoy stories adout vampires. The story chronicles one English Lord's life as he journeys into other countries only to eventually become a vardouloucha (Greek for vampire). He stuggles with his vampire personna finding it sometimes tantilizing, and sometimes vile. He can do things now that he could never have done in his human form, and spends time throughout the entire book explaining his life to another character in the book that he has recently bitten. I like the story for its action and adventure. It also has a strong vampire theme. It does however have some adult themes to it, so buyer beware. It is definately not for a younger audiance.
i bought this item because i love the book. i had first read it when i was in school and i had to do a report on a poet. i got to read this book and many other involving Lord Bryon. i can say he is in my top 3 poets.
