Mine arrived seriously damaged, but Wayfair (slowly) solved the problem and now it's working. This is a typical Chinese product, with flimsy parts, but the wife LOVES it, and I suspect that replacement parts will be very reasonable. Rather than spend the evening cleaning it, I highly recommend lining it with aluminum foil and throwing away the cleaning problem every few uses and relining it. Typically confusing Chinese instructions, but there really aren't that many parts to assemble, using nothing but about a dozen philips screws. After making repairs, we had it up and running in about an hour. The whole burner mechanism was pre-assembled. Note: I had NO problem identifying the "front" and "back" while putting it together. The drawings are pretty good. They now have dropped the price by $36 and I WOULD recommend this grill.Read full review

After using and cleaning the grill about 4 times. We did our 4th of July party. Cooked a few burgers and some chicken. The grill started to get dirty. The slits were clogged. Next thing I noticed the grill had gone out. Not enough air was being given to the fire to keep it going. So I tapped the starter, forgetting the gas was running and got an explosion that lifted the grates about 2 inches. I tried to clean the grill and the fire kept going out. Each time the situation got worse. The grill is not usable unless you keep it very clean and then it is risky. They changed the design so all the debris goes into the fire area and makes an ungodly mess and starts a huge fire. I had to lift one of the grills off so it would stay lit and it flamed up horribly and I could not cook with it for the rest of the day. I will be contacting the manufacturer on this very stupid design change. Why they put these terrible grates that dont work and removed the actual thing that made it infrared cooking is beyond me. Not worth the risk of burning and exploding. The flame ups burn everything to a crisp since there is so much debris on the grills. Cleaning the things is very messy and you have no place to scrape the debris of during cooking. I really do hate this grillRead full review

Next time I'll pay 10 more and get it ready to go. It really reminded me of 50 years ago when you buy the kids an erecter set. I don't think you could break-it-down any more. And not one extra screw or pin. Sure was hungry when it was down, took close to a six-pack.
