I wanted to see how well the movie followed the book. It was such a difficult time in History for all the people involved. The story is well told and I was impressed with all the statistical data and the storylines. I could have got it online at Barnes & Noble, but decided I wanted a printed book as opposed to the ebook.

I decided to buy this book after a survivor of the Schindler's Camp came to visit our town. He spoke at the college. My parents and grand-parents lived through the war; and I have an interest in learning about true survivor stories. Stories like this makes me appreciate what I have, the economy and government we still have. Yet is also is a warning for anybody.
