Overall, the entire DVD is a little clunky--the menu screen was a little old-fashioned and took my Dad a second to get used to. We thoroughly enjoyed finally getting to watch "Claymation Christmas" again. The other features were not quite as memorable, but a nice bonus since the DVD was under $9. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to watch the Christmas special again.

This collection of Will Vinton's claymation holiday specials is great for kids and adults alike. The Christmas celebration, which is worth the purchase on it's own, is great for the entire family; with a blend of classic christmas carols, delightful animation, and silly comedy, it makes a perfect choice for family viewing near the holiday. All three animations take on a personality of their own, which can be entertaining or disappointing, depending on your taste. The Easter and Halloween specials both star an inventive and ambitous pig set on making a profit by overthrowing the holiday. Both are set up as somewhat of a dark comedy, though the Easter special still brings enough light-hearted laughs to draw in all audiences alike. The Halloween special makes more of an attempt to make it's weird monsters and undead characters seem silly in a style that is almost Tim Burton-esque, but may be too scary for children. All in all, Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas makes this DVD a must buy for families, the young at heart, and anyone who has wondered what ever happened to the California Raisins.Read full review
