This is an excellent movie, really helps bring alive the amazing universe we live in. Another one I would recommend is the National Geographic film, Inside The Milky Way, really beautiful film.

Very well done but it does leave you with a sense of humans leading a pointless life and no hope of an afterlife. The movie does point out that "creation" happened and there is no explanation as to why and when. If we are truly leading pointless lives, then what is the point of the afterlife when there is no hope? 95% of the Earth population believes in a Creator God and over a billion people hang their eternal hope on the salvation given by Jesus Christ...it's clear this movie does not.
This is a thoroughly engrossing, highly entertaining trip from here to infinity. Its the only one of its kind Ive ever seen. Great for the whole family, at least those who look up at the night sky and wonder. There are NO actors, only awesome narration

I saw this when it first aired on NatGeo, and absolutely fell in love! The graphics, and picture from the hubble are just beautiful. You'll feel like you're on a rollercoaster ride to the edge of the universe. Not only is it educational, it's breath taking. Anyone who loves space and loves learning about the universe we live in should buy this dvd. You won't regret it.
