This review is for the newer style of the bait traps (twist off tops). They work great and are easy to use. The definitely attract all types of ants. The older style ones work as well, but require scissors to open and are shaped a little differently.

Placed a number of traps in the area where ant trails were. After a few days, I did notice a significant decrease in the number of ants. However, after a week, I am still noticing some ants strolling along my floor. Traps are convenient to use and are odorless, just wish they had completely iradicated those annoying critters.

A few years back I would buy these and they'd work fairly well. Then a couple years ago Terro changed the shape of the dispensers and apparently the liquid formula also, because they no longer worked, in my same home they had worked before, on the same ant colonies I assume. The ants were no longer attracted, didn't drink the contents. I tried several units, none of the ants were attracted in the least. Which is why I looked on Ebay, to find these older ones. I bought a package, haven't used them yet, but I've noticed that the liquid inside doesn't flow, seems to be dried out, like it's very thick, not runny. That makes sense because these are older, from a few years ago. I hope they still attract the ants, but whether the dried out liquid will work effectively I'm not sure, it could be too dry and maybe difficult for ants to ingest. We'll see...Read full review

I had 2 types of small ants in my condo in Hawaii. Probably came in with an orchid I had purchased. Almost immediately after I open the bait station I could see the ants getting into it. Lots of them! The next day there were no more ants of either type anywhere to be found.

I used the product last summer. I slipped 2 of the baits under my dryer by the back door where the ants were coming into my home. The ants were immediately drawn to the bait, and there was a huge influx of ants (300-400) beating a path back & forth between the bait and their nest for 2-4 days. Then they stopped coming, so I assume the ants in that colony were killed by the bait. This year, ants have started coming in at the same place, so I ordered more baits and expect the same results. If you can deal with the influx of ants for a few days, these ant baits really do the job.
