Everyone already knows about this game and how good it is, all that I can leave here is my opinion... Having played almost every single MGS since MGS 1, including the PSP non-canon games, I have to say that I don't think this is the best game in the series. The gameplay is probably the best, but not significantly better that MGS 4. The story is somewhat simple and suffers quite a bit from the way the game was structured, being an open world with lots of things to do makes easier to become disconnected from the story you're supposed to be experiencing. The ending is unsatisfying and in the collector's edition you can see what was cut from the ending of the second chapter. Word is it was intended to have 5 chapters. If that is the case, this could have been the most epic game of all time. As it is, it's a fun game, with amazing gameplay, but the emotion, the connection to the characters, the moments that only a MGS fan can appreciate, such as going back to Shadow Moses Island in MGS 4, they are simply not there.Read full review
