i bought this lens because it offers high quality resolution the design didnt change very much it delivers sharp brilliant images has no flares is single coated todays lenses are MC/multicaoted not to much difference for me - i use it in BW 4x5 format.i have another super angulon 121mm but its for 5/7 or even 8/10 and the results were very satisfying for its age.so thats why i bought this lens for my 4/5 and its linhofselect which means linhof inspected and used those lenses for their cameras.another point to buy it.last but not least the price ! cant get that quality anywhere else for 200 dollars ! this is one of the best you can start with in 4x5 largeformatphotography ! with kind regards dietmar
I photograph with a Kodak Graphic View 4x5 view camera and purchased this lens to add to my collection. It is a great lens and a very wide angle lens. Terrific for scenic images which I photograph of the National Parks in the USA. I am thrilled with this lens and would recommend it to any High Quality Photographers who still believe in Film over Digital.
