If you are dealing with 7th graders or older, this book is a good reference, but don't show it to the kid--it's too "young." For the younger student, however, it is just right. For parents, too! Reminders, mostly, but also good things for the kids to know about teachers: expected behavior as a student; following your eyes (never roll them or look upper right). It is good for setting up a study/homework area.
I wanted to purchase this book to help my homeschooled students learn more about test taking and the strategies to compete under timed tests. We will be using it as a daily assignment until the book is completed.
