I have to start by saying I am a Harley Davidson tech. I have had experience with a good many motorcycle stereos. These were fairly easy to install my 9 yr old daughter and I did it. They are probably the best volume and sound quality that you can get under a hundred bucks. It depends on what the input source is as well, with my phone it distorts at high volume. With my ipod not so much. All in all I'd actually say they're a great budget sound system. If you have more to spend then avoid them.....lol

MC 400... 600 Watts amp with 3.5" speakers rated at 50 Watts Max ???? I don't think so !!! It doesn't take a genius to see what will go wrong if you "pump up the volume" (M A R R S 1987). And it happened, believe me. Distortion up to the sky, speakers screaming "Stop please..." and at the end one of those checking out. High wattage, high distort, low sensibility and very poor quality speakers do not make a great sound system... And if you try to find some high quality speakers that can fit the bill... Send me a note with the address because nowhere to be find. Conclusion: BIG "NO NO..."

The mc400 is a great system for very little money. It was very simple to install. Has plenty of wire to put almost anywhere on the bike. The volume control is nice and easy to mount. Sound quality is really good. It's pretty loud. I would have gave it a 5/5, but the speaker mounts kinda stink. They are intended to mount to the mirror studs and they do work, but on most bikes it just doesn't work out right. Clamps for the handle bars would be better. Over all I'm very happy with the system, and if it died tomorrow I would buy another for sure!
These great they r loud so that I have to turn down when I am riding they r easy to install with my bar I had to fight with them a little bit but fairly easy to install and I am very happy. I would recommend anyone who is looking for sound on there bike get them u won't be disappointed

i am the kind of guy who just didnt think this system was goin to sound good, i expected a cheap sound you get with the lesser brands of stereos, especially at the price i paid, I just dont have alot of money anymore and couldnt afford to pay in the hundreds, for 55 dollors this is a great system worth every dollor, its sound great fulll sound no cheap garbage here. ii hooked this up myself,,easy installation, and the way its already put together makes it even easier... iusualy leave feedback as soon as i get item, but this time waited til i heard system, i would have paid alot more for this, its worth getting, i can hear system very loud and clear at 75 mph on my harley.. thank you for the nice system a a great price thanx mark
