Very happy with these binoculars. Comfortable to use and excellent image quality even in low light. Quick to focus and great FOV for this magnification. Weight also good for this size binocular. Good value.

Product was offered with additional 10 Percent off list price. Great quality for the money. Model was as pictured. Good lens and 12 power also. Not costly compared to others. Wide and thin neck straps included. Semi hard case included. Large 50mm lens instead of 42mm with same 12 power. Still compact enough with a little added weight. Would recommend.

I did quite a bit of research before buying these and discovered that these were the perfect binoculars for medium to long range glassing. They combine the superior light-gathering capabilities of a 50mm lens with 12X magnification. I just finished birding with them for 8 hours in overcast/rainy conditions in the Pacific NW and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. One nice touch is the extending eyepiece cups that click into place. I can get my eyes far away from the lens to keep them from external fogging in cold & wet conditions. Well done Vortex Optics!

112 power is perfect for my rangy mountains out here in elk country of Montana....I use a tall walking stick which works perfectly as a monopod to steady them for prolonged veiwing....love the clarity. And light capture of the 50 objective...I have a 25 year old pair of 8 power Stiener military...with great glass good light and big field of view...These new Vortex are just as clear with more x power and are actually lighter.....Happy with my purchase snd will put them to the real test next summer...scouting elk for bow season...what you here about Vortex being alot more binocular for the money is true...I guess a 2 or 3 thousand dollar pair of Liecas or Sarworfskis (sp) must be better for being 10x or more..more expensive....but I for one can't imagine how...short of seeing in the dark. And mainly I can't afford to find out why...can you? I feel like I got a bargin on a pair of rich man binoculars and call it good at that...plus I doubt sny of the big boys have a lifetime warrenty as good as Vortex?Read full review

Twist up/down eyecups allow very easy viewing with glasses. Center focus is extremely easy with large, easy to turn wheel. Adjusting the diopter ring is virtually impossible without removing the binocs from the eyes and using the entire grip of the palm tightly to turn the ring then rechecking each adjustment - very aggravating. Eyeglass wearers should be able to preset diopter at zero and simply focus normally anyway. There is a little edge flare discoloration when viewing backlit objects, as if one is using a camera toward light without a lens shade. This is annoying as it occurs even when looking into a shaded area with low light sun in the background. I have used better binoculars at a lower price. Somewhat disappointed.
