I love the Gun Digest books. Well this one was good with the pictures but the author was not very good. and took a wandering look at these guns. Just not up to the standard of the Gun Digest brand.

Great Book!
Great book for anyone looking for a history of the AK/SKS rifle and its many variants. While incredibly detailed, its details are more of the useful type rather than describing every minute difference between every year or manufacturers markings. Book includes many great pictures for comparison of rifles. Great book and fast read for anyone interested!
