Beginning in 1961, Sue Thompson hit the pop charts twelve times. Like Sandy Posey and Skeeter Davis, Sue Thompson was pop and country, but unlike Posey's and Davis's music, I didn't find Thompson's as engaging. Even the songs I purchased the CD for, "Sad Movies (Make Me Cry)" (#5) and "Norman" (#3), didn't kickstart me the way I thought they would. However, there are bright spots, such as "Paper Tiger" (#23); "Angel, Angel"; and "It's Break-Up Time." I also enjoyed, believe it or not, the covers of "Oh Lonesome Me," "Tonight (Could Be the Night) "and "('Til) I Kissed You" as much as anything on the CD. I have no doubt that other music lovers find will much more to admire on Suzie than I did. Boots Randolph's sax on some of the tracks, like "Sad Movies," is killer. No text. Eleven-page booklet.Read full review

Great collection of her songs. Brings back the teenage innocence of a by gone era. Love it.
