Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen and Sally Field star in this 2012 action film based on the comic book. A nerdy teen is bit by a super-genetic spider and becomes a web-slinging hero. I went to see this at the movies and really enjoyed it. This blu-ray set has nice picture and sound plus neat extras. I recommend this good comic book adaptation.

Great movie for the family, it's a new & different twist for this story, but really good! My son really enjoyed this as well as us adults! A truly good superhero movie for everyone to see! I would recommend it to anyone who is a true Spiderman fan as I have been since I was a kid! It was great seeing a different villain in this movie - the Lizard man aka Dr. Connors was an interesting character. This movie was suspenseful to keep you watching it right until the end.
