Huge to the point of so thick that the regular sized paper punch holes and those little reinforcing O-rings do not slide easily on the 3 d-rings. I wanted this folder so I could put in ALL my tuba music that we play in our Senior Center band into one folder that is easy to carry. But pages of music would have to be flipped almost as individuals to be able to slide to the next song to play. And that D-ring shape is not conducive to raise even 1 or just a FEW at a time without mindfully trying to swing the sheets along a perpendicular route from the d-ring. The round rings are much easier to change pages. Now do they make an, 0-ring 4 inch binder? I REALLY like the carry handle and the zipper closing. But unless we would play our songs in alphabetical order, this folder as built just doesn't work . I have a 3 inch Case it binder that holds just about all the music but it so full. And when I flip from Amazing Grace to Winter Wonderland, the force opens up the O-ring and music sheets fall everywhere as one hand has to hold the tuba. As above, all else is just great on the way it is built, but just cannot function for what I intended. Will look for a large hole paper punch but that D-ring shape is still going to be hard to deal with. Will prpbably use it for one of my tractor service manuals or Antique car service manuals where I am at a desk with two hands to flip pages and not holding onto a 45 pound tuba.Read full review

The binder rings look solid, and the size is impressive, however: The part of the case that zips shut as well as the plastic (not fabric) insides will not last long. They are very thin. The durability of the red (or colored part) looks fine, but not the part that keeps it closed and safe. If I'd seen it in a store, it would have immediately been put back. If the zipper portion lasts longer than a week I'll be impressed. Just the pressure of a pencil or another book will tear it up easily. It has the thickness of the see-through trash bags some offices use. Just not good.

My 2 inch binder would not hold anymore of my records. This 4 inch is the perfect size. Everything fits with room to spare..

My son has been in school for two weeks and it’s already splitting at the zipper. Yesterday all the stuff fell out because the zipper spread apart. He doesn’t even have that much stuff in the case. I need to get a refund ASAP so I can buy him a knee binder.
