Another awesome Dear America book! This book shows a different side of WWII - from a young girl's perspective in New York. She and a friend discover that a Nazi submarine was actually on the New York Coast. Excellent historical fiction reading!
THis was a fantastic book set during WWII - a time in history which I find most interesting ( besides the '70s!) I was very glued to the book all day until I finished and then I went back and re-read parts that I especially liked over and over again!
I loved these books in elementary school, and now I am collecting the series for my daughter when shes older.
