The peony, freesia and vetiver translate on my skin to lily of the valley and oakmoss. There's a small hint of sandalwood and musk but just to let the florals rest on. This is a modern perfume trying to smell vintage without all of the original ingredients. It is kind of a watered-down shadow of a vintage. With that said, I like it. It's benign for office wear and smells fresh and pretty but nothing stunning. This is NOT powdery unless weak translates to powdery. It is a bit sharp like orchid and freesia scents. The peony and freesia give it an almost aldehydic opening. The oakmoss/vetiver keeps it a woody floral.

It is a floral scent but not too sweet or overpowering. This was a very good buy from EBay. The price was fabulous. It was advertised as a damaged box but I could hardly tell that there was any damage at all.

Smells great. It's been a while since I had Nicole.
