James Patterson slipped on this one. I had to have it because it's the latest addition to the Murder Club Series. I now have all 8 in the series in hard cover. But, it was hard to follow and I had a hard time caring if they solved the case or not. Don't get me wrong, James Patterson is still one of my favorite mystery writers but he needs to concern himself more with quality instead of quanity. Maybe it's just me. With all that said, if you're a Patterson fan, it's still a must read and is worth the money...almost. I just bought Swimsuit. I hope it's better.
All of the Women's Murder Club are wonderful. They are not gruesome as many of James Patterson's books are. They are full of suspense, and many times you're sure the story line will come out one way, and in typical James Patterson it comes out another. This series keeps you on the edge of your seat.

My husband had gone and bought me The 9th Judgment to add to my Womens Murder Club collection without realizing I had not yet purchased The 8th Confession. Therefore, I felt a sense of urgency in purchasing this item. I can't say that I loved any one thing about the item since I disliked that the fact that it was missing the bookcover. I did especially like the price of the book so that in the end I was content to have purchased the item because the price was right.
Another great addition to the Women's Murder Club series. I have not read one yet that didn't keep me wanting to read more. His short paragraphs can be good for stopping if you don't like to stop in the middle of one, but bad because you keep thinking, oh, I'll just read one more paragraph before going to bed. Great series.
I love John Patterson books. They take you to another place
