In this classic, Mark Twain (alias Samuel Clemens) brings us his life growing up in the Mississippi area through the eyes of his fictional and much beloved mischief maker Huck Finn, the sidekick of Tom Sawyer. If you loved this book as a kid, rest assured that while there are no witches, goblins, vampires and magic in this book, your kids will love it too. It's entertaining reading, and I am sure your kids will see part of themselves in these characters. A true piece of Americana of a time and a place that is no more. Be sure to also read the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, his friend for the same author and beloved humorist, Mark Twain.I loved them both, hope you and yours will too! PLEASE! Don't forget to vote on this guide and on others that you read,it really helps get the word out and thanks!Read full review
Even though I'm 59 years old, I've always been a "carbon copy" of Huck, with red hair, no family and always destitute in some way, like Huck I always seem seem to make the best out of an otherwise adverse situation. And like Huck, I believe in myself. Thanks! Cody McCoy
