A quiet winter night; a little dark and rainy; and Hitchcock. What a recipe for entertaining fun and you won't be disappointed with this DVD. Talking Movies Vrs Silent Movies
The silent movies should be on a DVD by themselves. The talking ones on another. That way you can decide which one you want to watch. With them mixed up, you don't know which is which. That way you decide what you want to watch. I didn't like that I had to keep going to MENU to bypass movies to get to the next talky. I don't mind watching silent movies, but not mixed up.

Good Title of a Great Legend Movie Director/Producer
From my early life and to my present, Alfred Hitchcock has been one of my favorite movie director/producer of all time. He has excelled many of his rank and is known worldwide for the masterpieces that he created. This collection displays his mastermind and ingenuity in all facets of movie making. Even the silent films are full of feeling - laughter, pain, love, joy, fear, sorrow, awakening....etc. Hitchcock was able to capture the attention and grab hold to the feelings of his audience in ways unlike any other. Even today, in movies such as "Signs" other movie producers like to imitate his superb way of getting audiences to fear without all of today's blood baths in movies. When imitating the style of Hitchcock, movie directors reach a higher level of creativity and rating. I am very pleased to have this selection of Alfred Hitchcock early creative work and masterpieces. This selection is one to be added to one's collection of superb memorabilia.Read full review
