I don't know if its my love of Italy, or a fascination of the political power of the Roman Church, but I found this book to be very engulfing. Interesting twists of plot, with hints of what's coming. I especially liked the look into Leonardo's life, though its hard to tell where fact ends, and fiction begins. Definitely a good read.
The Secret Supper by Javier Sierra is an enjoyable read. Though not in the league of Dan Brown's DaVinci Code it stands up well with it's own interpertations. Much is drawn from facts and figures from the time period of the late 1400's. With its many hints and twists the story becomes plausible with fact and fiction intermingling quite well.
DeVinci code type treatment of Tha Last Supper--great info on iconography utilized by De Vinci--have loaned it to friends and all have loved the book--well written and good use of characterization to provide new insight into our ideas of religion
