It also encourages strong relationships with their people and they show how to make that happen. It now only has great tips but great philosophy about your relationship with your dog.

I have had dogs my whole life and wish I had found this training video sooner. If you haven't already, I would recommend buying the book and reading it cover-to-cover and then watching this as a follow up. When I acquired a 4 week old pit bull puppy that was abandoned at my local vets office I was worried about raising her. Alas, this training method has been a life saver.

The Monks of New Skete are the best at raising German Shepherds in a loving yet disciplinary manner. Highly recommend their training books, and viewing the video that explains how the Monks actually live and work with their dogs. My dream is to own a puppy from the Monks of New Skete because you will definately get a very well adjusted furry friend.
