Extremely tough, durable, and they have improved the thermal capacity over older models to keep-for real-beverages to retain their temperature for up to 24 hrs, though that can dissipate some as the volume decreases-i.e., you drink the beverage.

I know almost everything is made in China but Stanley not good, I still have the same one but in the US and what a difference, the Chinese looks and feels like it was made from scrap cheap material, I will never buy another one again I rather go to a flee market and look for an original old one.

The classic thermos is fantastic at keeping you beverages hot! We pre-heated the thermos with hot water, added coffee and 7 hours later it was still steaming when you poured out a cup! My only regret is, I wish I would have purchased the one with a handle on the side for easy carrying with other items. Regardless, this is a great thermos!
